Bike Yoke Barkeeper Stem

Particularly beautiful, an extraordinary strength to weight ratio are the key features of our Barkeeper stem.

The cost extensive and highly precise production of this masterpiece includes many steps, including:

• precise forging process
• Multi-tempering
• CNC machining of critical contact interfaces
• Shot peening for surface hardening
• Laser engraving
• Anodizing

All three available lengths (35mm, 45mm, 55mm) were successfully tested to match and exceed the requirements for the strongest/highest possible category for mountain bike components (category 5) of DIN EN 17406:2021 and ASTM F2043-13. These tests were run with an 800mm handlebar width, which leaves plenty reserves for their intended use on “Trail” and “Enduro” bikes.

The incredible attention to detail in manufacturing and finish quality can also be seen in areas, which are not even visible, when installed. Call it nuts, but this is our striving for perfection!

Important note:
The obvious one-piece design allows for an incredible high strength-to-weight ration, but it does cost some compatibility. Not every handlebar will be compatible to our Barkeeper stem. Although we have successfully tested handlebars with 35mm rise, there is no guarantee for compatibility. We assume most handlebar with a rise of up to 30mm will work, but it greatly depends on the slope and shape.

We will try to update this list, so feel free to let us know, once you have successfully installed a handlebar, which we can add. This list makes no claim to completeness or correctness and is only to be understood as a reference.
