Galfer Disc Shark Center-Lock System 160X1.8MM

Unique to this rotor are the inner fins that gives it its name: the Shark. These fins, together with the rotor’s small internal round holes, allow the operating temperature of the disc to be reduced, while the rotor’s exterior Wave design and its lateral openings produce a powerful and consistent grip over the full contact area of the brake pad. Paired with Galfer Pro brake pads, Shark discs have brought home numerous UCI World Cup DH victories and podiums, heralding a new era of ultimate braking performance.

Galfer Shark rotors are laser-cut from a proprietary mix of virgin, high-carbon 420 stainless steel, double-disc parallel ground to ensure perfect flatness, then heat treated according to each rotor’s specific application. Shark rotors have anti-corrosion treatment, are lighter than comparable discs on the market and do not emit noise or vibration. Every rotor is designed and crafted with precision in Galfer’s factory in Barcelona, Spain.
