The Smith Defy is the lightweight, rimless option in Smith’s performance range — built for riders who want an unobstructed, high-contrast view with as little frame as possible. ChromaPop lens technology sharpens contrast and natural colour so the terrain reads clearly at speed, and with no rim below the lens there’s nothing to catch your eye when you’re looking down the trail. Smudge- and moisture-resistant coatings keep the optics clean and easy to wipe.

Fit is medium to large with large coverage on a 5-base cylindrical shield lens in a slight wraparound shape. Megol temples and adjustable Megol nose pads hold the glasses in place whether you’re grinding a climb or letting it run, and the high-impact-resistant TR90 nylon frame is durable, light and flexible, with AutoLock hinges that hold open for one-handed on and off. The lens is interchangeable, and Smith supplies a bonus clear lens so you can match the light. Microfibre bag included.
