The Smith Sidekick Jr. MIPS brings the same design thinking as the adult range — Mips® Safety System, proper ventilation, visor, extended rear coverage — and packages it into a kids’ mountain bike helmet sized for young riders from age 4 to 12.

Lightweight in-mold construction keeps it tough without loading up small necks. The dial-adjustable fit system lets you fine-tune the fit as they grow, and two sizes cover the full range from first pump track laps through to proper trail riding. AirEvac™ ventilation works with Smith eyewear for fog-free lenses, while 12 fixed vents keep things comfortable even when the pace picks up. The centre rear vent is compatible with Smith’s rechargeable Transit Light (sold separately) — a genuinely useful feature if rides stretch into lower light. Comes with a drawstring helmet bag.
