Forbidden Bikes
Forbidden bikes carry one signature ride feel across the whole range — from the Avinox-powered Druid E and Dreadnought E with smooth, instant support, to the analogue Druid and Dreadnought, built around the Trifecta high-pivot platform for precise handling on any trail.
E-MTB & Analogue Bikes
The Druid E and Dreadnought E run the Avinox drive unit — up to 150 Nm of torque and 1,300 W of peak power on M2S builds. The analogue Druid and Dreadnought offer truly proportional frame sizing for a consistent ride across every size. Every model is built around Forbidden’s Trifecta high-pivot suspension.
Forbidden Product Highlights
E-MTB by design
The Druid E and Dreadnought E aren’t converted analogue frames — they’re designed around the motor and battery from the first line, with the Trifecta V3 platform, mixed wheels and full high-modulus carbon construction.
Avinox drive unit
The Avinox M2S delivers up to 1,300 W of peak power and 130 Nm of torque, rising to 150 Nm in Boost. The M2 delivers 110 Nm and 1,100 W (125 Nm Boost). Both use helical gears for quiet, strong, smooth assistance, with 600 Wh or 800 Wh batteries.
Trifecta suspension
Forbidden’s proprietary high-pivot linkage is designed to enhance momentum and control on challenging terrain — the rearward axle path lets the wheel move with the impact instead of into it.
One ride
A core Forbidden philosophy: everyone who rides one should experience the same ride characteristic, regardless of size or stature. Every frame size is engineered to feel like the same bike.

“With the Druid CorE and LitE, Forbidden have made a strong eMTB debut — bikes that not only look the part but also perform impressively on the trail.”
“The e-Druid’s longer rear centre length is beneficial while climbing… both bikes do a good job of easily dispatching tricky climbs.”
“The Forbidden Druid CorE 1 stands out as the best all-rounder among the e-MTBs we’ve tested so far. It combines strong climbing performance with confident descending and gets just about everything right.”
“It is a bike for when you’re sick of trying to choose which bike to bring… It is just as happy smacking out laps at the bike park as it is at your local trail network.”
Forbidden FAQs

What makes Forbidden bikes unique?
Forbidden pairs its Trifecta high-pivot suspension platform with proportional, size-specific geometry — so every frame size delivers the same balanced ride feel, and the rearward axle path carries momentum through rough terrain instead of hanging up on it.

Which mountain bike models does Forbidden offer?
The analogue range covers the Druid (trail — 150 mm rear, 160 mm front), the Dreadnought (enduro) and the Supernought (downhill race). The e-MTB range is the Druid E and Dreadnought E, both powered by the Avinox drive system.

What motor do Forbidden e-MTBs use?
Forbidden e-MTBs run the Avinox M2S — up to 1,300 W of peak power and 130 Nm of torque, rising to 150 Nm in Boost — on upper tiers, and the Avinox M2 (110 Nm / 1,100 W, 125 Nm Boost) on other builds, with 600 Wh or 800 Wh battery options.
