The COMMENCAL ABSOLUT is the bike that has taught generations of riders how to jump. This 2026 Pure White build keeps the same proven ABSOLUT Al V4 alloy frame used across the range, then specs it with dependable, easy-to-live-with components so riders of every level can get straight into dirt jumps, pumptracks and skateparks without worrying about the bike.

Up front is a MANITOU Circus Expert with an air spring and adjustable damping, so you can set the fork up properly for your weight rather than putting up with a one-size-fits-all coil. Tough ALEXRIMS FR30 wheels on NOVATEC single-speed hubs, a three-piece BMX-style crankset and TEKTRO hydraulic braking round out a complete build weighing around 10.9kg.

MANITOU CIRCUS EXPERT FORK

The Circus Expert offers 100mm of travel with an ACT air spring and the ABS+ damper providing both compression and rebound adjustment. Air tuning lets lighter and heavier riders alike dial in sag and bottom-out support, and the tapered steerer keeps the front end precise on landings.

ABSOLUT AL V4 FRAME

Triple-butted 6061 alloy (T4, T6) makes for a 1.9kg frame that shrugs off casing a landing. The 69° head angle, 390mm chainstays and low bottom bracket give the ABSOLUT its trademark playful handling – easy to manual, easy to whip, and stable enough to keep progressing on.

TEKTRO HYDRAULIC BRAKING

A TEKTRO HD-M280 hydraulic disc brake with a 160mm TR 160-52 rotor gives consistent, low-maintenance stopping power with a light lever feel – exactly what you want when you are scrubbing a little speed before a lip.

ALEXRIMS AND NOVATEC WHEELS

ALEXRIMS FR30 32-hole rims laced to NOVATEC hubs with SAPIM spokes make a strong, serviceable wheelset. MAXXIS DTH tyres in 26 x 2.30″ provide the fast-rolling grip that dirt and pumptrack riding demands.

SINGLE-SPEED SIMPLICITY

A PROWHEEL 165mm crankset with a 30T steel chainring, KMC Z1-BUBU chain and NOVATEC 11t cog keeps things simple and durable. No derailleur, no shifting, nothing to knock off on a landing.
