The COMMENCAL ABSOLUT in Dark Slate is a stripped-back, do-everything dirt jump and pumptrack hardtail. Built on the 26″ ABSOLUT alloy frame with adjustable horizontal dropouts, it focuses on the things that actually matter on a jump line: a stiff frame, an air-sprung fork you can tune to your weight, tough wheels and a drivetrain with almost nothing to go wrong.

The matte Dark Slate finish hides scuffs better than most, and at roughly 10.9kg the bike stays easy to throw around. It is an ideal first proper dirt jumper and just as happy in the hands of an experienced rider looking for a simple, reliable park and pumptrack bike.

MANITOU CIRCUS EXPERT FORK

The Circus Expert provides 100mm of travel with an ACT air spring and the ABS+ damper offering both compression and rebound adjustment. Being air-sprung means you can set it up properly for your weight, so it stays supportive on repeated landings instead of blowing through the travel.

ABSOLUT ALLOY FRAME WITH ADJUSTABLE DROPOUTS

Triple-butted 6061 alloy (T4, T6) keeps the 1.9kg frame tough and lively. Horizontal dropouts let you slide the rear wheel to adjust chainstay length and set chain tension, so you can tailor the handling from snappy and playful to longer and more stable.

SRAM LEVEL BRAKING

A SRAM Level two-piston hydraulic disc with a 160mm SRAM G2 CleanSweep rotor gives clean, dependable stopping power with an easy lever feel and very little maintenance. A mechanical front brake is supplied.

ALEXRIMS AND NOVATEC WHEELS

ALEXRIMS FR30 32-hole rims (26″, 23mm internal) laced to NOVATEC hubs with SAPIM Leader spokes make a strong, easily serviced wheelset. MAXXIS DTH tyres in 26 x 2.30″ front and rear roll fast and hold a line through berms and transitions.

SINGLE-SPEED SIMPLICITY

A three-piece Crmo BMX crankset with a 28t chainring, KMC Z1-BUBU chain and NOVATEC 11t cog keeps the drivetrain about as bombproof as it gets. No derailleur, no cables, nothing to snag.
