The ABSOLUT RS is the air-sprung, tunable version of COMMENCAL’s long-running dirt jump platform. Built on the 26″ ABSOLUT alloy frame with adjustable horizontal dropouts, it pairs a ROCKSHOX Pike DJ fork with a SPANK wheelset and four-piston SRAM Guide T braking – a genuinely high-end package for riders who want a bike that can be dialled in precisely to their weight and style.

Everything about the RS build is chosen for control. The Pike DJ’s Solo Air spring and adjustable rebound and low-speed compression let you tune the front end exactly how you like it, while a TITLE cockpit, ODI Elite Motion grips and a matte Dark Slate finish keep it looking as purposeful as it rides. Complete weight is around 11kg.

ROCKSHOX PIKE DJ FORK

The Pike DJ delivers 100mm of travel through a Solo Air spring with external rebound and low-speed compression adjustment, running a 15 x 100mm axle and 40mm offset. Air spring tuning means you can set sag and ramp-up to suit your weight, so landings feel supportive rather than harsh.

ABSOLUT ALLOY FRAME WITH ADJUSTABLE DROPOUTS

Triple-butted 6061 alloy (T4, T6) keeps the 1.9kg frame stiff and tough, and the horizontal dropouts let you slide the rear wheel to fine-tune chainstay length and chain tension. Shorten it for a snappier, easier-to-manual feel or run it longer for stability on bigger jumps.

SRAM GUIDE T FOUR-PISTON BRAKING

A SRAM Guide T four-piston hydraulic disc with a 160mm SRAM HS2 rotor gives you strong, predictable stopping with excellent lever feel, so you can trim speed accurately on the run-in to a jump line. A mechanical front brake is supplied.

SPANK WHEELSET

SPANK Spike Race 33 rims (26″, 32h, 28mm internal, tubeless ready) are laced with triple-butted J-Hook spokes to a SPANK Single Speed DJ rear hub and Hex J-Type front. It is a stiff, impact-resistant wheelset built for repeated hard landings.

SINGLE-SPEED SIMPLICITY

A three-piece Crmo BMX crankset with a 28t chainring, KMC K1 Wide chain and SPANK 11t single-speed cog keeps the drivetrain simple, strong and quiet – exactly what you want for dirt and pumptrack riding.

What makes the ABSOLUT RS different?
