Few bikes have shaped as many dirt jumpers and pumptrack regulars as the COMMENCAL ABSOLUT, and the 2027 ABSOLUT BOMBER is the most focused version of that recipe yet. Built around the ABSOLUT Al V4 frame with integrated chain tensioners, it is a simple, tough single-speed hardtail that rewards clean technique and shrugs off hard landings – whether you are learning your first tabletop or linking a whole jump line together.

This is a complete, ride-it-today build rather than a frame-only project. A MARZOCCHI Bomber DJ handles the front end, a four-piston SRAM DB8 disc brake takes care of stopping, and DT SWISS D1900 Classic wheels keep rolling straight after repeated impacts. MARZOCCHI BOMBER DJ FORK

ABSOLUT AL V4 FRAME WITH INTEGRATED CHAIN TENSIONERS

The ABSOLUT Al V4 frame is built from triple-butted 6061 alloy (T4, T6) and weighs just 1.9kg, giving you a stiff, durable platform that still feels lively in the air. Integrated chain tensioners make wheel alignment and chain tension quick to set and easy to keep true, which matters when your drivetrain has no derailleur to take up the slack.

SRAM DB8 FOUR-PISTON BRAKING

Stopping is handled by a SRAM DB8 four-piston hydraulic disc paired with a 160mm SRAM Centerline rotor. The extra pistons give you consistent bite and easy modulation, so you can scrub speed precisely on the roll-in and hold the same lever feel session after session. A mechanical front brake is supplied with the bike.

DT SWISS WHEELS AND A BURGTEC COCKPIT

DT SWISS D1900 Classic rims (26″, 32h, 30mm internal) laced to DT SWISS 370 LN hubs with Competition double-butted spokes make for a wheelset that stays true under repeated abuse.
