The Commencal Absolut 24 is a 24″ alloy dirt jump and pump track bike for smaller riders, with a 100mm Manitou air fork and a single-speed drivetrain. It is offered at outset.bike in Pure White, in one size, and suits riders 135–155cm tall.

FRAME & FIT

Commencal builds the Absolut 24 from triple butted 6061 alloy with T4 and T6 heat treatment, with adjustable horizontal dropouts to tension the single-speed chain and tune the wheelbase. The bike rolls on 24″ wheels front and rear, with a 360mm reach, 69° head angle and short 365mm chainstays. It suits riders 135–155cm tall (4′5″–5′1″). THE PARTS THAT MATTER

The fork is a Manitou Junit Circus Expert 24 with 100mm of travel, an ABS+ damper with compression and rebound adjustment, and an ACT air spring that can actually be set up for lighter riders. The drivetrain is single speed — BMX-style 3-piece CrMo cranks with a 28T chainring and a 12T CrMo sprocket — so there are no gears to break or adjust. A Tektro HD-M820 hydraulic disc brake on a 160mm rotor handles the rear, with a mechanical front brake supplied in the box. Alexrims MD25 rims on Novatec sealed-bearing hubs carry Schwalbe Billy Bonkers 24 x 2.0 tyres, and a 650mm Ride Alpha bar on a 40mm stem keeps the cockpit dirt-jump short. The whole bike weighs 10kg without pedals — light enough for a kid to throw around.

FRAME, STANDARDS & WHAT’S INCLUDED

The frame runs a BSA 73 threaded bottom bracket with alloy cups and four sealed bearings, a 31.6mm seatpost, a ZS44/ZS56 headset and a 135 x 10mm bolted rear axle, and it clears a rear tyre up to 58mm wide. A mechanical front brake is supplied. The Absolut 24 carries Commencal’s lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects for the original purchaser, with free Commencal Care support.
