2027 Commencal Ramones 20

Commencal Ramones 20 – 2027

The Commencal Ramones 20 is an alloy kids mountain bike with 20″ wheels and a 7-speed drivetrain, built for riders 115–130cm tall (3′9″–4′3″) — around five to six years old. It is offered at outset.bike in three 2027 colours — Pure White, Black and Green (a turquoise shade on the spec sheet) — in a single size, with pedals included.

At outset.bike, we stock bikes we genuinely believe in. Commencal designed the Ramones 20 with the same attention to detail as its adult bikes — it is the step where gears arrive and real trails open up.

FRAME & FIT

The RMNS 20 frame and 20″ fork are both alloy 6061, and the bike weighs 10.3kg without pedals. The geometry reads like a scaled-down trail bike: 315mm reach, an 848mm wheelbase, a 68° head angle and 335mm chainstays, so the bike stays stable as speeds pick up. The cockpit is kid-sized throughout — a 600mm Ride Alpha kids handlebar on a 40mm Commencal stem, 127mm cranks and a soft-padded Commencal kids saddle.

THE PARTS THAT MATTER

This is the first Ramones with gears: a Shimano Tourney 7-speed drivetrain with a Revo twist shifter — easy for small hands to use — paired with an 11–34t S-Ride cassette with spoke protector, a 30t chainring with external chainguard and a KMC Z7 chain. Braking is Tektro Aries mechanical discs with kids-specific Tektro levers and Jagwire cables on 160mm 6-bolt rotors. The wheels run Commencal 24h sealed-bearing disc-ready hubs on 30mm-internal Commencal 20″ rims, wrapped in wide Vee Tire Co. CrownGem 20″ x 2.6″ tyres that give a young rider real grip and cushioning on trail surfaces.
