Commencal Clash V2 – 2026

The Commencal Clash V2 is a long-travel alloy enduro and freeride mountain bike with 170mm of rear travel, a 180mm Fox 38 fork and 27.5″ wheels front and rear. It is offered at outset.bike in a single 2026 build — the Clash Essential in Pure White — in sizes S, M, L and XL.

A PLAYFUL 27.5 GRAVITY PLATFORM

Commencal builds the Clash V2 around a triple butted alloy frame that weighs 4.1kg, with 170mm of rear travel on a 230 x 65mm shock — adjustable down to 155mm via the 2-position shock anchor — and a recommended sag of 26–30%. Full 27.5″ wheels and 434mm chainstays on every size keep it compact, quick to turn and easy to throw around. Why it matters: one bike covers jump sessions, bike park laps and steep after-work trails without needing a second mortgage.

THE ESSENTIAL BUILD

The Essential build runs a Fox 38 Performance 180mm fork with the Grip damper and a Fox Float X Performance shock with a 2-position lever. The drivetrain is full Shimano SLX 12-speed with a 10–51T cassette, braking is Shimano SLX 4-piston on 203mm rotors, and the wheels are DT Swiss E593 rims with a Maxxis Assegai MaxxGrip front / Minion DHR II MaxxTerra rear tyre pairing. A KS Ragei dropper post (125mm on S, 170mm on M, 190mm on L), a Ride Alpha cockpit with ultra-soft Mushroom grips and a Fizik Terra Ridon saddle finish it. It weighs 16.1kg (average size S, without pedals).

SIZING & GEOMETRY

The Clash V2 comes in S, M, L and XL. Reach runs 445, 465, 490 and 520mm, with a 64° head angle on S–L (64.5° on XL), a 77.2° seat tube angle and 434mm chainstays on every size. As a guide, S suits riders 158–170cm (5′2″–5′7″), M suits 168–180cm (5′6″–5′11″), L suits 178–190cm (5′10″–6′3″) and XL suits 188–200cm (6′2″–6′7″). FRAME, STANDARDS & WHAT’S INCLUDED

The frame runs a Press Fit BB92 bottom bracket, ISCG 05 tabs, a 34.9mm seatpost with a 38.5mm clamp and a ZS44/ZS56 headset. The rear hub spacing is 148 x 12mm on a Maxle-standard 180mm M12 axle, rear tyre clearance is 65mm, and the rear brake mount is postmount 200mm with a 223mm maximum rotor; the frame is piggy-back shock compatible. The bike ships with a down tube protector, chainstay and seatstay protectors, a pick-up pad and a fork fender.
