The Commencal Clash 24 is a full-suspension kids mountain bike with 24″ wheels and 145mm of travel front and rear, built for riders 125–140cm tall (4′1″–4′7″) — around seven to eight years old. It is offered at outset.bike in one 2027 build, Pure White, in a single size, with kids pedals included.

REAL SUSPENSION, KID-SIZED

The rear end runs Commencal’s virtual pivot point kinematics with a RockShox Deluxe Select shock (190 x 45mm, rebound and threshold adjustment, one token fitted), keeping grip and comfort intact on rough ground. Up front, the 145mm Manitou Junit Pro 24 fork uses a kids-specific air cartridge with rebound and compression adjustment, so a light rider actually uses the travel rather than bouncing over it. Why it matters: suspension valved for a child’s weight is what makes a kids full-suspension bike genuinely work.

FRAME & FIT

The Clash 24 frame is alloy 6061 with triple butted tubes and T4/T6 heat treatment, and the complete bike weighs 12.6kg without pedals. The geometry mirrors Commencal’s gravity bikes: 350mm reach, a 1036mm wheelbase, a 64.5° head angle, 75.5° seat angle and 390mm chainstays — stable at speed, confident on steep slopes. The cockpit is scaled to match, with a 640mm Ride Alpha R15 bar on a 40mm Ride Alpha stem, ODI Elite Motion grips and a kids-specific Commencal Explora JR saddle.

THE PARTS THAT MATTER

The Microshift Advent X 10-speed drivetrain gives a wide 11–48t spread for climbing, with a 30t Prowheel chainring on 140mm cranks and a KMC X10 EPT chain. Tektro HD-J3120 hydraulic disc brakes with two-piston calipers and 180mm rotors deliver light-action, kid-strength stopping power. Wheels are WTB KOM Team 24″ rims (28h, 30mm internal) on Formula sealed-bearing hubs with Sapim D-Light double butted spokes, wrapped in Vee Tire Attack HPL 24″ x 2.40″ tyres.

FRAME, STANDARDS & WHAT’S INCLUDED

The headset is an Acros ZS44/ZS56 with sealed bearings, the bottom bracket a BB92 pressfit, and the fork runs a Boost 15 x 110mm axle; seatpost diameter is 31.6mm with a 34.9mm clamp. Every Clash 24 ships with kids pedals, a chainstay protector, a seatstay protector and a down tube protector, and is covered by Commencal’s standard warranty with free Commencal Care support.
