The Commencal Clash V3 frame is an alloy freeride and bike park frame with 170mm of rear travel, built around 27.5″ wheels front and rear and a 180mm fork. It is offered at outset.bike in Pure White, in sizes S, M and L, sold as a frame only.

A FREERIDE AND BIKE PARK FRAME

Commencal builds the Clash V3 frame from 6069 and 6061 alloy, and it weighs 4.9kg. It delivers 170mm of rear travel on a 230 x 65mm shock (not included), and Commencal publishes two sag windows — 24–26% for freeride and 20–22% for jump riding — so one frame covers both personalities. Its progressive kinematics smooth out small and mid-sized impacts while keeping the back end responsive off lips and landings. SIZING & GEOMETRY

The Clash V3 frame comes in S, M and L. Reach runs 435, 455 and 480mm, with a 63.8° head angle, 77.5° seat tube angle and 434mm chainstays on every size. As a guide, S suits riders 158–170cm (5′2″–5′7″), M suits 168–180cm (5′6″–5′11″) and L suits 178–190cm (5′10″–6′3″). If you’re between sizes, get in touch and we’ll help you choose.

COMPATIBILITY & STANDARDS

The frame runs a ZS56/ZS56 headset, a BSA 73 threaded bottom bracket, ISCG 05 tabs with a custom upper guide, a 34.9mm seatpost, a 148 x 12mm rear hub and a UDH derailleur hanger, and it clears a rear tyre up to 65mm wide. The rear brake mount is postmount 200mm with a 223mm maximum rotor, the fork height is 577mm, and the frame accepts piggy-back shocks.
