The Commencal Supreme DH V5.2 frame is an alloy downhill race frame with 220mm of rear travel, built for a 29″ front / 27.5″ rear mullet wheel setup and a 200mm downhill fork. It is offered at outset.bike in Pure White, in sizes S, M, L and XL, sold as a frame only.

A WORLD CUP DOWNHILL FRAME

Commencal builds the Supreme DH V5.2 from 6066 alloy with T4 and T6 heat treatment, and the frame weighs 5.8kg. It delivers 220mm of rear travel on a 250 x 75mm shock (not included), with a recommended sag of 20–25%, a four-position shock anchor and a rear triangle whose stiffness can be tuned through three plate thicknesses. The V5.2 carries over the Supreme DH V5’s geometry while bringing revised kinematics and virtual pivot point, a redesigned rear brake interface, a stiffer rear triangle, a UDH-compatible drivetrain interface with Contact System bearings and covers, and guided internal routing through the head tube. Why it matters: this is the same platform Commencal races at World Cups, with the fixes that race season asked for.

SIZING & GEOMETRY

The Supreme DH V5.2 frame comes in S, M, L and XL at outset.bike. In the high setting, reach runs 435, 460, 488 and 508mm, with a 63.7° head angle and chainstays of 440mm on S and 452mm on M to XL; the low setting slackens the head angle to 63.3°. As a guide, S suits riders 158–170cm (5′2″–5′7″), M suits 168–180cm (5′6″–5′11″), L suits 178–190cm (5′10″–6′3″) and XL suits 188–200cm (6′2″–6′7″). COMPATIBILITY & STANDARDS

The frame runs a ZS56/ZS56 headset, a Press Fit BB107 bottom bracket, ISCG 05 tabs with a custom upper idler guide, a 31.6mm seatpost (130mm maximum insertion), a 157 x 12mm rear hub and a UDH derailleur hanger, and it clears a 27.5″ rear tyre up to 65mm wide. The rear brake mount is postmount 200mm with a 223mm maximum rotor, the recommended fork height is 612mm (620mm maximum), and the frame accepts piggy-back shocks.
