The Commencal T.E.M.P.O. V2 frame is an alloy trail frame with 125mm of rear travel, built around 29″ wheels front and rear and a 140mm fork. It is offered at outset.bike in Pure White, in sizes M and L, sold as a frame only.

A SHORT-TRAVEL TRAIL FRAME

Commencal builds the T.E.M.P.O. V2 frame from 6069 alloy with T4 and T6 heat treatment, and it weighs just 3.44kg. It delivers 125mm of rear travel on a 210 x 50mm shock (not included), with a recommended sag of 28–30%, and it accepts piggy-back shocks. Why it matters: a sub-3.5kg alloy trail frame keeps the finished build light without carbon money, and 125mm of travel is enough for most New Zealand trail riding when the geometry is this sorted.

SIZING & GEOMETRY

The T.E.M.P.O. V2 frame comes in M and L at outset.bike. Reach is 450mm on M and 470mm on L, with a 65.5° head angle and 76.6° seat tube angle on both, and chainstays of 435mm on M and 440mm on L. If you’re not sure which size suits you, get in touch and we’ll help you choose.

COMPATIBILITY & STANDARDS

The frame runs a ZS56/ZS56 headset, a Press Fit BB92 bottom bracket, ISCG 05 tabs with a custom upper guide, a 31.6mm seatpost (265mm maximum insertion on M, 285mm on L), a 148 x 12mm rear hub and a UDH derailleur hanger, and it clears a rear tyre up to 64mm wide. The rear brake mount is postmount 180mm with a 200mm maximum rotor, and the recommended fork height is 551mm (561mm maximum).
